Altair DC consists of a live dashboard that provides a real-time snapshot over delivery statuses. It gives live alerts on anomalies and delays as well as immediate warnings on delivery time windows that will be missed. Early prediction of missed deliveries enable quick action to mitigate issues that can arise on the road (unexpected delays at customer locations, bad traffic, etc). the module also gives a live comparison between the planned and the actual in tabular and map views.
KPIs are tracked in real-time and deviation problems are alerted on the spot. The routes are permanently tracked in comparison to the planned routes and locations are captured from the field in order to keep ETAs and service times under control. Should delivery issues arise, the module will enable a re-sequencing of delivery points, re-allocation of deliveries, re-calculation of ETAs and validation of different scenarios as well as a re-optimization of routes based on new changes to incoming orders.
Navigation instructions are pushed to drivers (including calculated adherence to road restrictions for larger trucks) and a simple tool enables a re-allocation of missed / late deliveries to other vehicles.
The Driver App enables them to check in/out, review delivery requirements and daily schedules, receive navigation instructions, report delivery statuses and easily capture customer locations and service times.
Once the plan generated by NORMA and approved by the user, the output routes are moved to the Work Order Management module. Each Work Order is a planned pick list and consists of a single route on the given delivery slot.
